11.10.23 - Caroline & Paul - Rosewood Farms Wedding
In early November of 2023, couple Caroline and Paul were married at the beautiful Rosewood Farms in Elkton, MD!
Shortly after arriving to the venue, Caroline and her girls made their way into the bridal suite to begin getting their hair and makeup done by the talented Houppette and Salon on Savannah teams.
As our planning team made its way into the couple’s reception space upon arrival to unload decor and start setting up tables, Alicia headed to the suite to work on flat lay photos, which were so gorgeously captured by the amazing Lindsey Joy Photography.
Caroline and Paul hired A Garden Party Florist to do all of their florals, and they were absolutely stunning!
Flowers were placed both outside and inside the ceremony space as well as at cocktail hour, with many then repurposed in different areas within the venue’s Rose Barn for reception.
Paul and his groomsmen got ready in the guys’ suite - The Lounge - as the girls finished up and Caroline put on her gorgeous lace-covered dress by Irini’s Originals, and pearl veil.
After being walked over by her dad, Caroline met Paul on the outside patio of the Rose Barn, as they elected to do a private vow reading directly following their first look - and it was as sweet as can be!
As wedding party photos were soon underway, a beautiful cake was delivered and adorned with extra florals by the lovely Figs and Flour Baking Co.
Live music from The Honey Badgers welcomed guests into the Rustic Barn where the ceremony was being held, and around 3:30pm, the processional began.
LD from Daring Celebrations & Ceremonies greeted the couple as they made their way to the end of the aisle, with a grand floral arch serving as their backdrop.
Caroline and Paul said their ‘I Dos’ and exited to the song ‘Dreams’ by Fleetwood Mac :)
Servers from Lib’s Catering passed an assortment of hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour following the ceremony, while The Honey Badgers played some additional live tunes.
Being that it was later in the year with an earlier sunset time, the couple went off to take golden hour photos and then joined Alicia and the rest of the planning team for their first look at the reception space!
Fitting with the fall season, their chosen colors and decor pieces were moody yet very elegant and timeless, with varying floral displays, candles, and cloche-covered table numbers embellishing each table.
Following formal introductions and a first dance to Kacey Musgraves’ version of ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love,’ a delicious buffet dinner began and the venue’s Silo Bar opened to start serving drinks, which included the couple’s very own signature cocktails - ‘Paul’s Punch’ and the ‘Sweet Caroline.’
Speeches were given by a few members of the wedding party, special father/daughter and mother/son dances were shared, and then the dance floor was officially open!
The couple joyfully cut their cake, Caroline tossed her bouquet, and then she and Paul went outside to snap some sweet shots under the venue’s beautiful string lights :)
Although it was a slightly chilly and rainy day, so much warmth was felt seeing the love between all in attendance, and we couldn’t be happier to have experienced and been a part of it with them <3
