7.2.22 - Chad & Sarabeth - Dupont Country Club Wedding

Fancy Fox couple, Chad and Sarabeth, had the most beautiful Summer wedding day!!

The couple decided to hold their summer festivities in Wilmington, Delaware, at the Dupont Country Club.

Sarabeth and her bridesmaids arrived early in the day to begin the hair and makeup process with the Beauty Bar by Kristina Ruggerio team, and situated themselves in a room on the upper floor of the club.

This is one perk of choosing a venue that has a getting ready space on-site - you can just have everyone come to *you* rather than having to coordinate travel plans from place to place. The guys got to the venue a little bit later and got all suited up in their picks from Formal Affairs, with ties from The Tie Bar to complement each look.

Fancy Fox Events’ Alicia and Lily arrived around noon to begin setting up! Sarabeth and Chad chose to go with the “All-In” Planning Experience that Fancy Fox offers, and with that, Alicia created a design that encompassed characteristics of them as a couple while also letting individual desires they each had shine through.

The color scheme was made up of a variety of greens, golds, and creams, which especially popped in their chosen decor combined with stunning florals by Twisted Vine Floral Design.

The couple’s ceremony, originally set up outside on the back lawn, was moved indoors due to a slight sprinkling of rain. It created even more of an intimate feel for the joyous celebration.

Chad and Sarabeth’s wedding party processed down the aisle to ‘Canon in D’, led by Pastor Perry Mears from True Life Church.

Sarabeth was walked down by both her mom and her dad to ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri, which was such a sweet moment. She wore a stunning gown by Claire’s Fashions adorned with intricate embroidery and a sparkly beaded midsection. Her and Chad said their ‘I Dos’ and they were married!

Cocktail hour took place outside on a covered patio with many seating options for guests to mingle and chat with one another. The couple chose to serve a Lavender Vodka Lemonade as their signature drink along with other selections from the bar.

The venue was beautiful inside and out, with impeccably maintained grounds surrounding the club and the most amazing light that poured through the back of the building.

The reception took place in Dupont’s ballroom, fit with high ceilings, multiple chandeliers, built-in columns, and a gorgeous fireplace.

To match the grandeur of the room, there was a mix of both high and low floral centerpieces; each table embellished with candles and hand-painted acrylic table numbers. Bridesmaid bouquets were also resourcefully repurposed and placed in vases in various spots around the room.

Standout moments of the evening were a delicious plated meal prepared by the club’s kitchen staff, a heartfelt message from the bride’s maid of honor who unfortunately couldn’t attend the festivities, and a crowded dance floor full of close family and friends :)

We couldn’t end this post without throwing in some stunning photos of the couple with this incredible rainbow that was caught right after the ceremony, when the rain stopped and the sky parted.
